Mid Georgia Ambulance (MGA) began serving the Macon community in 1977 with a mission to help those in need in life's worst moments.  Since that time Mid Georgia Ambulance has grown to serve seven counties in Georgia. Although we've grown and made significant advances through technology and a well-trained and diverse workforce, MGA's core mission remains the same: a purpose to serve people.

Trying to kickstart Your resolution to lose weight or become more active? Join the MGA Run For Your Life Running Team in Macon!

The MGA Run For Your Life team began as a group of MGA team members (Paramedics, EMTs, Dispatchers and Administrative Staff) who wanted to become more active and physically fit.  We run in local road races (5K's, 10K's, Half Marathons, Marathons and everything in between) throughout the Macon and Warner Robins area.  If you are interested in finding a group to run with, email us by clicking This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.  CPR Training at Mid Georgia Ambulance

CPR Saturdays in Macon

 Big News! We are now launching our new CPR Training Curriculum, Hand 2 Heart CPR! Hand 2 Heart CPR Classes will be held once monthly and are FREE to the public. Hand 2 Heart features compression-only CPR. Many people who have taken CPR classes in the past remember "mouth to mouth resuscitation" as a key step in the CPR process. Research has since proven compression-only CPR to be as effective, if not more effective than, the old "mouth to mouth" resuscitation method.  Health agencies across the country now recognize compression-only CPR as the preferred method in the event of an emergency!

MGA's Hand 2 Heart program includes a comprehensive curriculum which covers compression-only CPR, AED training, choking, and heart attack and stroke warning signs. You can learn how to save a life in less than two hours' time!

Attend one of our Hand 2 Heart Classes FREE of charge. Ages 12 and up are welcome to attend.
